What We Sell
Stein Education Center's annual Walk-A-Thon is an exciting day for students and part of our commitment to give our developmentally disabled students the same opportunities as typically-developing children.
Donations to our stores arrive daily from several sources including:
- Friends of the two non-profit organizations supported by store profits, Senior Community Centers and Vista Hill
- Estate Sales
- Neighborhood Supporters
Gently used merchandise in our stores include:
- Antiques and collectibles
- Artwork
- Audio visual department includes, DVD's, CD's, records, movies, etc.
- Books - Our book area is light and roomy with comfortable seating areas for browsers. Books are arranged in fiction and non-fiction sections. Fiction (hard covers and paperbacks) are alphabetized by author at the North Park shop. Children's books are sold at our City Heights store.
- Clothing - All clothing is screened, with only clean, undamaged items sent to the floor. Look for popular brands such as Old Navy and Banana Republic etc. as well as designer names i.e., St. John, Escada, Prada, etc. Purses, shoes, belts, scarves and other accessories are clean and in good repair.
- Furniture - Look for the bargains in our furniture area.

- Much miscellaneous
Because the stores rely on donations, each delivery is gratefully accepted, and receipts are provided.
