Seniors enjoy the benefits of exercise classes at the 9th and Broadway location of Senior Community Centers.

The Windmill Thrift Shops are operated as a California public benefit corporation with 100% of the profits going to Senior Community Centers and Vista Hill. By donating your gently used items to Windmill Thrift Shops, you are supporting two of San Diego's most highly respected not-for-profit organizations.

What to Donate
The Windmill Thrift Shops accept most merchandise including books, jewelry, furniture, electronics, small appliances, china and glassware, clothing, antiques, etc.
Please Note: we do not accept computers or computer related items, large appliances, mattresses, chemicals or office furniture.

How to Donate
Donations may be dropped off at either location. If you are bringing items to donate to the Windmill Thrift Shop located at 3081 University Avenue in North Park, you may do so between the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. daily, at the back entrance, which is accessible in the alley off 31st street.

If you are bringing items to donate to the Windmill Thrift Shop located at 4611 University Avenue in City Heights, you may do so between the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. daily at the front entrance.

Contributions may be tax deductible. You or your tax advisors can estimate the value of the donation. Please consult your tax preparer for guidance on setting the tax-deductible amounts.
